Teagan DeVaul

Teagan DeVaul is a Junior at the University of Illinois. Beyond a devotion to academics, Teagan is the Digital Marketing Specialist for the Perfumery, a B2B fragrance manufacturer. The focus of her duties revolves around expanding the Perfumery's social media presence through promoting convention events and monthly product promotions. She also finds professional development with her position as the Gies Global Semester Programs Assistant. There, Teagan takes on customer service-aligned responsibilities in aiding domestic and foreign exchange students as well as the administrative duties involved with their semester programs.

Beginning her Junior year, Teagan embarked her coursework for the Hoeft Technology and Management program. In addition to being a member of Class XXXI, she started a new role as the Events Operations and Communications coordinator, where she produces social media content for the program and works along side program stakeholders to support the everyday operations of the program. 

 

Teagan is also a member of a project feedback team for the Illinois App, the University of Illinois main application involving everything U of I, from meal plan information to access to local university news feeds. Her involvement in the feedback team offers a user perspective to the app developers on the strengths and growth areas of Illinois App features.
